Great food, friendly folks and awesome service!

The food may be comfort, but the service sure isn't! Very rude and unwelcoming. I walked out, deciding I'd rather starve than swallow her insults!

Great food like always.

Very friendly. Great iced tea! Food portions are plenty. We tried the pork chops and a mexican plate. Both were very good. We would definitely stop there again.

The best French fries we have eaten in USA Like my mother did when I was Young in France and the Hamburgers are very good too. A very nice place on the road to Big Bend National Park

Heading to Big Bend...stopped in to the Ranch House for a bite to eat. Ordered small chicken fried steak. Great great great food!!!!!!Staff friendly. Would recommend.

Great place for home cooked meals. They have good chicken fried steak and burgers from ground brisket that are excellent! The waitress packs heat for the enjoyment of 2nd amendment supporters everywhere!

No stars would be preferable, but not allowed here. Locally inept people. Oh yeah, I had visited for food. NOT good. LONG wait. This place has 4.5 stars? Not much to do with their time but promote themselves.

The chicken fried chicken was the best I've had. And the jalapeno gravy, outstanding! Whoever came up with it was a genius. The staff were so friendly, treated me like old friends.

OMG... I can't believe I've passed this place all these years. The service is outstanding and the food, we'll just say that I had too take a nap before I started back on the road. My new favorite place too grab a bite too eat.

Friendly staff, large plates cooked fresh. Homemade tortillas grilled jalapeños and ou are welcome to come with your open carry pistols.

Food was good, but the waitress had a horrible attitude! We would have left but were too far into it .. a group of 3 came in but left immediately because the waitress was so rude to them.

Staff is great. Food is handmade by someone who obviously knows how to cook and has years of experience. Prices are more than reasonable given the remote location.

Had a great hamberger and Fry's with some of their fantastic banana pudding for dessert.

Once ordered catfish here with friends, very long wait, catfish burned. Guess you gotta be a part of their club. Snot nosed overweight kids run the place.

Wonderful food! Have eaten dinner and lunch here. Service could be better, a little slow and not super friendly. They also have premade meals and we loved them! We’ve had the brisket Shepard’s pie and beef stroganoff. A must when you are in Bandera, Texas

Really really enjoyed Meme's Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas. Amazing flavor. Super kind folks that run this place. Wish I could go back again tomorrow, but I'm heading down the road. They are closed Monday & Tuesdays. So plan your trip carefully to ensure you get to enjoy a meal here. You will not be disappointed...

Awesome little place with good food.

Salad was extremely good and fresh. Chicken fried steak was out of this world they know how to get a real piece of beef then have it tenderized to perfection. Take a look at me pictures.

Omg best burger you'll ever have

My car broke down and the owner was gracious enough to let me borrow her car for a couple hours to be able arrange transportation. She could not have been a nicer person and restored my faith in humanity!! What a wonderful owner and I will definitely come back and visit! Oh, and the brisket sandwich was amazing!!

Excellent food and service

Great Food. Good Service. Small place. Owner believes in Open Carry and carries a 380 ... so folks who don't respect that shouldn't stop by. Had Chicken Fried Steak, Chalupas and Catfish, home made lemonade, orange pie and apple cobbler. All really good food.

We loved this eatery. Fantastic food, some great smoked brisket!!! Lots of homemade metal horseshoe works for sale. Very impressive! The waitresses are A#1....We are coming back here every chance we get.

We had a nice burger and chips, very good quality. Restaurant has ambiance and is a good choice in Sanderson. Recommended.

The food here is amazing!! The timing was really good for a small town and it was very clean. One of the cleanest restaurants I've been to.Honestly if you're looking for a good meal to fill you up on the road I recommend you stop here! 10/10

Loved the ranchero burger

Good food, ribs were amazing. Exceptional deserts. Opens for lunch and dinner only. Staff very friendly. Restroom was clean. Excellent place to take a road trip break. Highly recommended!

Really good place to stop - just as well as not much esle on the 90 around that area - excellent burger, diner food and smokehouse - lots of character inc waitress with pistol in holster!

Stopped here on our way back from Big Bend. It was good.

My Austin based bachelor party had a great time, sitting on the porch here and enjoying an awesome burger and fries. This was a quintessential west Texas meal. Complete with a gun-toting, sassy, but friendly waitress! This was worth the detour on the way back from Big Bend!
